Janice Bartley

Janice Bartley is a long-time activist, public speaker and self-advocate that is outspoken in her beliefs that people with disabilities have the right to develop meaningful intimate relationships. She is a graduate of AmeriCorps and is currently an employee of AHRC NYC’s Organizational and Employee Development Department, where she’s worked since 2009. Janice has publicly presented on disability rights issues at numerous universities and conference across New York state, including at NYU, the CUNY Grad Center and the Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network. Janice originally told “The Italian Stallion” with the Moth at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe in 2009, and is thrilled to bring it back to the stage in honor of the Moth’s 20th Anniversary.
